The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) is pleased to announce a HPC Workshop on Parallel Programming geared towards Women in Science & Engineering. The workshop will be held on July 17 - 18 in EWFM 520 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
The workshop will consist of a series of lectures and invited talks with ample amount of time for hands-on exercises on Lehigh's High Performance Computing Cluster, Sol. The workshop will introduce users to Parallel Programming Concepts, OpenMP, OpenACC and MPI Programming. Attendees are expected to have some programming experience, C/C++, Fortran or MATLAB is preferred and familiarity with using a *nix system is beneficial.

The workshop is open to Faculty, Staff and Students from Lehigh University and LVAIC schools with preference given to women. Attendees from outside Lehigh will be provided with a temporary Lehigh account that will provide access to Sol through the end of June. Attendees are encouraged to review Lehigh's HPC Training recordings and slides on Linux and SLURM at https://researchcomputing.lehigh.edu/training.
