Usage

Sol Usage Summary

 

Sol's allocation cycle runs from Oct 1 through Sep 30 of the next calendar year. Sol was launched with 9 20-core nodes and 25 24-core nodes or 780 total cores on Oct 1 providing a total of 6,832,800 SUs annually. Of these 1,401,600 SUs are available to Lehigh Researchers for annual purchase as a Hotel Investor. Between Jan 2017 and Apr 2017, Sol was upgraded with 50 GPUs on the 25 24-core node and expanded by the addition of 21 24-core nodes for a total of 1284 cores providing a total of 11,247,840 SUs annually via the Condo Program. There is no increase in SUs available for Hotel Investors, just an increase in computing cores available at any given time.

The following show the daily usage of Sol averaged over three days. Usage of running jobs is not counted resulting in usage greater than 100% usage on days following heavy use. Viewable on Lehigh campus and VPN only. (Click on the legends to toggle the plots on and off)
